Town Meeting is this coming Tuesday, March 5, 2024, 9:30 am to completion at Calais Elementary School.

TOWN OFFICE SCHEDULE
The Calais Town Office will be open on Monday, March 4 for voting and final election preparations. Minimal other services available; No land, deed, title, or other vault research available. The Town Office will be CLOSED on Tuesday, March 5. All Elections activities are at Calais Elementary School.

POLLS OPEN 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
You may vote your Australian ballots anytime Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Calais Elementary School, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm.

BRING YOUR BALLOTS WITH YOU
If you wish to vote an Australian ballot you have already received in the mail, BRING YOUR BALLOTS WITH YOU.

BRING YOUR TOWN REPORT WITH YOU
Please bring your new Calais Town Report to refer to during Town Meeting.

TOWN MEETING ZOOM PARTICIPATION
2024 Town Meeting will be available for observation via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85804157698?pwd=RkR5S1JLUzRza01zV2lJTzg4eVNuZz09.
All Zoom participants will be muted, and may ask questions via the Zoom chatbox. Cogent, relative questions will be asked by the Zoom Host at the discretion of the Town Meeting Moderator. Zoom participants may not vote; only those who attend Town Meeting in person may vote.

COVID/RSV PRECAUTIONS; MASKS NOT REQUIRED
Masks will not be required at Town Meeting or at any time while the Polls are open. If you have Covid or RSV, are experiencing any Covid/RSV symptoms, or have been exposed to Covid/RSV in the past week, please do not enter the building. If you wish to vote, please have someone else (who has no Covid/RSV exposure) alert an Election Official. We will assist you in voting from your car.

COMMUNITY LUNCH
A community lunch will be available immediately following adjournment of the meeting, or at a break from floor discussion as deemed by the Moderator. Lunch will be hosted by Friends of Calais.
Price for ages 13 and above: $5.00
Price for ages 12 and below: Free

CHILDCARE
Childcare is available at no cost from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Registration is required; contact Community Connections Coordinator Kim Bolduc at 223-7936, ext. 305, kbolduc@u32.org.

FREE ECLIPSE GLASSES
The Town Office will have free solar eclipse glasses available; limit 2 pair of glasses per person.

FREE AT-HOME COVID-19 TESTS AVAILABLE
The Town Office will have free at-home Covid tests available; 2 tests per box; limit 2 boxes per person. Test expiration date is October 2024.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Handouts will be available on how you can join us in service to the Town of Calais. Please consider volunteer membership on one of our Town Boards, Committees, or Commissions.
