Making Informed Choices on End-Of-Life Arrangements

Past event
Mar 7, 2024, 1:30 to 2:30 PM

Because end-of-life arrangements are sensitive and often difficult topics to explore, it's understandable that individuals and family members may delay learning about options until circumstances make it necessary.

However, doctors and attorneys are encouraging people of all ages to think these things through and include them in "Advanced Directives." These documents outline one's preferences on various personal matters including funeral arrangements.

There have been some changes and trends, including the growing preference for cremation over traditional burials, and the availability of "green burials."

Join us on March 7 at 1:30 at the Richmond Free Library to meet Stephen Gregory, a Vermont State-licensed funeral director who's worked in the funeral business for over 30 years. He'll explain the various options to traditional funeral arrangements.

Sponsored by the Community Senior Center and open to all.
