New Qigong series in Chelsea
This Thursday (2/29) at 6pm at the Chelsea Town Hall is the first class of the the new 12-week Qigong class. So far there has been a lot of enthusiasm for the class, and now we can really dig in to the material.
At this point new people may join; anyone is welcome to show up tomorrow to get a taste of the class. I am always open to people sampling the class for a couple of sessions to decide if it is for them, before making a longer commitment. Due to the nature of these classes, a degree of commitment is necessary for learning to happen, and classes are very much oriented to learning, but people can still join and catch up for a while after the beginning.
If you have been in the class already, please encourage anyone you know who might benefit to come check it out! Spread the word!
If you have not experienced the class, well, it's not easy to describe; but I will say that I have run clinical trials with this material, and published in peer-reviewed journals, demonstrating significant and substantial benefits in physical and emotional health. Past participants have told me they believe the classes have added years of good functioning to their lives and improved their quality of life in many, and unexpected, ways.
