Our regular series of excellent contra dances continues this Saturday, March 2. We'll have another of our favorite callers, Nils Fredland, who's known for his warm style and clear teaching. Music provided by the great combination of Rose Jackson (fiddle), Oliver Scanlon (fiddle & mandolin) and Yann Falquet (guitar). This is a hot group who will keep you dancing.
Come by about 7:30 so you can change or clean your shoes for the refresher/instruction lesson (taught by Nils) about 7:40, and then enjoy dancing from 8:00 to 11:00, with a break halfway. Please bring clean, non-marking shoes to protect our beautiful Vermont maple dance floor. We also recommend a water bottle to stay hydrated. Masks are not required, but we provide some if you want. The Capital City Grange Hall, located at 6612 VT 12, Berlin VT 05602, has an excellent exhaust fan to keep the dance well ventilated.
Admission is choose the price that matches you: $12 for adults, $5 for kids or low-income people, or $20 if you want to help us pay the band, caller and sound really well!
