Hello, all:
A few reminders about what's coming up voting-wise over the next few days:
- An informational meeting re: Article 7 on the Town Meeting Warning (granting the Select Board approval to go into debt to purchase a $200,000 excavator) will be held at 5 PM tomorrow in Town Hall and via Zoom. For more details, please go here: https://middlesexvermont.org/
- The Town Clerk's Office will be closed for all non-election business Monday, March 4th and will close at 3 PM that day so we can prepare for Town Meeting. If you haven't returned your absentee ballots by then, please drop them off on TUESDAY, MARCH 5th at RUMNEY SCHOOL (433 Shady Rill Road) by 7 PM. Please don't take them to the Town Clerk's Office on Tuesday!!
- We will be sorting absentee ballots and running Presidential Primary and Town Office ballots through the tabulator Monday in the Town Clerk's Office per BCA approval. However, the results will not be available until after the polls close at 7 PM on Tuesday.
- In-person voting will take place from 7 AM to 7 PM, Tuesday, March 5th in the gym of Rumney School (433 Shady Rill Road). Town Meeting begins at 4:30 PM. If you haven't voted on your WCUUSD ballot, please bring it to Rumney to avoid filling out an affidavit of no votes cast. Bonus: FREE eclipse glasses, COVID tests, candy + I Voted! stickers will be available Tuesday after you vote or when you come to attend Town Meeting. If there are any eclipse glasses left after that, you may pick them up (2 per family) in Town Hall.
