On Saturday, March 2, at the Thetford Town Meeting townsperson and taxpayer, Duncan Nichols, will offer a non binding resolution to call for a ceasefire now in Gaza and the West Bank, and to stop sending aid to Israel in order to help stop an ongoing genocide of the Palestinians--and to contact the White House to express the essence of this resolution should it pass.

Some background: the Vermont delegation is expressing strong support for these calls, therefore we will urge our townspeople to contact the White House which is seeking, perhaps illegally in congress, supplemental taxpayer money to fund Israel's military.
