Come see a hilarious, filthy, tender, and surprising show, written and performed by UK-based artist Rachel Mars. This gloriously rude new solo show unearths the hot-as-hell letters that make sexts blush. Before sexts, there were hand-written letters—and loads of them were properly filthy. With the help of the internet, friends, and two sexologists, Mars triangulates these sex and love letters of long-dead artists with contemporary sexts and a meditation on the construction of the queer female body.

Take pleasure in James Joyce's passion for bum; find out who sneaked her gay lover into the White House; hear from Frida Kahlo, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Mozart; and bear witness to the best/worst sexts ever sent. This delightfully intimate, very funny, and surprisingly moving show is an erotic archive shot through with Rachel's personal ventures in contemporary Queer kink. Bonus event: "Older Better Letters: Tokens of Love from Special Collections", Friday 3/1 from 12-4 pm at the Davis Family Library. In conjunction with the show, Middlebury College Special Collections offers an open house filled with objects of desire past and present. Stop by to view love letters, dance cards, crush lists, and other objects that showcase how Middlebury students express love and desire.
