This town meeting day, Tuesday, March 5, 2024, residents of Middletown Springs and Wells will have the opportunity to vote for three individuals to the Board of Directors for the Wells Springs Unified Union School District. The three positions include one each for Wells and Middletown Springs representation. Those candidates are Eric Montbriand, the current President of the school board, and Mary Plunkett respectively. The third position is the At-Large position. I am seeking election to this position, which can be held by a resident from either Wells or Middletown Springs. Meredith Morgan has selflessly served in the position for 12 years, or four three-year terms. With a young student in the district, I am eager to participate in the future of the school district and the supervisory union.
