This is the first of a three-part series that will take place on the first Saturdays of March, April, and May at Baxter Memorial Library in Sharon, VT. Workshops are led by the librarian, Shana Ronayne Hickman. Have you ever noticed how happy and unflappable she is? Come discover how she keeps her calm - and her smile - even in the face of stress and disappointment.
Workshop 1: Flipping the Positivity Switch: Learning to Live with Enthusiasm (March 2, 3-5pm)
We all have negative, limiting beliefs that aren't doing us any favors. Reframing is the art of examining those negative beliefs and turning them inside out, allowing us to see everything from an entirely new perspective. In addition to reframing, we'll work on taking care of the present moment, learn how best to deal with stress, and discover the incredible power of gratitude.
A journal or paper for note-taking is recommended.
