Hello folks, we have been holding monthly farm dinners for 9 years! These are authentic Italian dinners the way you would eat at someone's family back where we come from. If you have been to Italy and miss it, or if you never had the opportunity to go and are curious, this is a good time to try. It is very different from the Italian American food you may be used to and we hope you will be positively surprised. Alessandra (Ale) and I (Stefano) cook everything from scratch (and we mean ... everything, bread included). We select the best ingredients and grow many of those ourselves, including our award winning charcuteries. The recipes are simple but take a long time and patience, just like our grandmothers used to make them for us. Do not expect a 5 star fancy restaurant - we are more like a very food oriented Italian family that favors food that nurishes the belly and the soul. Since this is an Italian household, our meals last 3 to 4 hours (so be prepared). We bring one course at the time and there is no rush to get done and out of the door.
If you have not tried yet, we would love to have you over. You can also read the google reivews people leave on our farm page (agricola farm vermont) and our meat store (monti verdi salumi). As you can see, there are a lot of happy people that have experienced our dinners.
Next dinner is March 9th. We are planning 6 courses and the tickets are $95 (this is the entire cost, no extra taxes or gratuity - the site selling tickets does charge a small fee). This is a BYOB.
