David Schutz oversees the restoration, care, and conservation of the historic Vermont State House and its collections of fine art, decorative art, and historic furniture. In this illustrated talk, he will share the challenges and successes of rehabilitating historic buildings so that their historic features are both respected and enhanced.

In 2015 he co-authored with Nancy Price Graff a comprehensive history of the State House entitled "Intimate Grandeur: Vermont's State House.
