The earth is alive, and so are we. Our winter cycle has been a time of deep connection, listening, and slowness. A time of hygge, sparkling trees, and wood burning stoves. As we enter the nearing of spring, we will be feeling into the slow awakening of the dormant, water-saturated land, engaging in the fullness of spring's in-breath. Together, we come into the sensory delight of spring, taking our first small steps towards the sun.
Come cultivate a practice of connecting with elements, non-human species, and the movement of life with the support of human community in || ∆ Listening to Trees: Animist Forest Circles in Rock Point ∆ ||
This offering will take place with an intimate pod of people, sharing the intention of sustainably & regeneratively cultivating other ways of being, together.
In this weekly, two-month practice, the forest & a cabin in Rock Point will be the container where we practice remembering who we are as earth-rooted spirit beings living in fleshy human suits.
With all the grief, praise, and tumult happening in the world right now, a connecting practice in nature helps us re-member the parts of us that can breathe deeply and listen reverently to the wisdom of the planet. We replenish ourselves and our individual microcosms in order to continue contributing to change in the macrocosm.
If this kind of interweaving, interdependent aliveness practice is something that is calling to you, visit http://otherwaysofbeing.com/forestcircles to learn more!
Registration closes on March 22nd, or when spots fill up.
