The Craftsbury Energy Committee is offering an opportunity to see different strategies for people to live more sustainably with their FALL SUSTAINABLE ENERGY WALK/BIKE on Sunday, Oct. 5th from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Three site in walking distance will be visited. Attendees should meet and park at The Music Box, 147 Creek Rd. The schedule is to visit these sites: At 1:30 PM: 1:30 pm: Lisa Sammet’s solar passive house design (The Music Box); 2:15 pm: The Town Solar Tracker at the Town Garage (Creek Rd.); 3:00 pm: The Flints home next to the Craftsbury GeneralStore. They had a big weatherization project –tightening up and insulating the home. Find out about their experience and savings; and After that, interested people can walk/bike/drive to Kevin Gregoire’s off the grid home off of King Farm Rd.
