Vermont's total solar eclipse is the topic on February 28, 1:30-3 pm for Central Vermont OLLI(Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) at the Montpelier Senior Activity Center, 58 Barre St. Jack St. Louis, president of the Vermont Astronomical Society, will explain why eclipses occur, the interactions with the sun, what to expect, and how to view the eclipse safely.
Registration for the eight remaining programs is $8 per program or $40 per individual or $70 per couple (any two people) for the series. Registration should be done online beforehand or by mail to UVM OLLI. If you decide to drop in at the last moment, you may send a check or pay online after the fact.
