Voices of Hope Community,
I wanted to take a minute to say hello! My name is Tami Jackson and I am excited to be starting a new chapter in my life as the Coordinator of Voices of Hope. I have been following the organization for a couple years and very happy to be a part of the team.
Originally my husband and I come from CT, but have had a home for 15 years in West Dover. We made the final switch to mountain living in 2021. We love living here full time. We bought 36 acres last year and are in the building state of a life-long dream of living in the woods. Our four 20-something children love coming up to experience the beauty and peace too!
I come from a long history of non-profit work. As a Psychology student, I always knew my focus was to be of service to other people. I hope my skills and compassionate work will be a value to Voices of Hope.
I am an active Rotarian in the Valley as VP, then President elect. I love Yoga, hiking, kayaking, travel, gardening and am learning to play the ukulele.
My hope is to be in the office on Monday mornings. Please feel free to stop in or come to the Member Meeting on Tuesday. I look forward to getting to know you and work with you all.
