The Canfield Gallery located at the Martha Canfield Library in Arlington is pleased to announce the upcoming exhibit by the Canfield Quilters from March 2nd–March 30th. An opening reception will be held in the gallery on Sat. March 2nd from 3:00-5:00pm with refreshments being served and members of the Canfield Quilters in attendance. Selected works will be for sale, with a portion of the proceeds to support the Martha Canfield Library.

The Canfield Quilters, a group of a dozen quilters from the Quiet Valley Quilters Guild (based in Bennington), have been meeting monthly at the Martha Canfield Library in Arlington since 2017. They design or sew traditionally styled quilts or artistic pieces. The group also focuses their efforts on making quilts for local charities. Each year in September, the quilters display their work at the Bennington Quiltfest, a show that is open to the public and exhibits about 140 quilts from artists throughout the region.
