The Fletcher Memorial, Cavendish and Mt. Holly libraries are proud to present Karen Land, a three-time Iditarod participant, who will be speaking about her experiences in the sport of mushing. This interactive event will take place on Friday, March 15, 2023, from 6:00- 7:00pm at the Ludlow Auditorium on Depot St. in Ludlow, VT.
Karen Land has delivered over 1000 talks in 35 states and is known for her engaging and informative presentations. Her current string of dogs is made up of an Alaskan husky named Noggin and a Corgi-Springer mix named Chloe, who will accompany her at the program.
This program is free and appropriate for all ages. It is open to the public, and we encourage everyone to attend and learn more about the exciting world of mushing.
Participants may park on Depot St. or additional parking is available at the municipal lot behind Brewfest Beverages.
