Hello Friends of MWA,
We regret to tell you that the unsettled weather has forced us to cancel our Annual Ski and Snowshoe event this year. Therefore, we are changing our tour of the Bluffside farm to an after "mud season" walk. Stay tuned for a rescheduling of this tour when we can celebrate the turn of the season and the budding trees.
In the meantime, join us for our next scheduled "Watershed News and Brews" on March 22, 2024, 5:15 - 7:00 at the Goodrich Library, Main Street, Newport.
The program will feature the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. Come learn about this fantastic 740-mile water trail that extends from Fort Kent, Maine to Old Forge in the Adirondacks of New York passing through the Memphremagog Watershed. The program will feature guest speakers who have navigated the trail and a video featuring highlights of the trail.
Complementary appetizers and a cash bar will be provided from the Eastside.
As always we will bring you up to date on MWA's activities during the last 6 months and plans for 2024.
