The WDEV Radio Rangers, originally formed in 1986 and who had a "live" 15 minute ad-sponsored show on WDEV, Waterbury every Saturday morning for many years, but which finally ended a few years back, have been together as a group all along and currently consist of Danny Coane on acoustic rhythm guitar/vocals; Dave Rowell (WDEV ad salesman for 30 yrs) on electric bass/vocals; Don Schabner on electric lead guitar/vocals and Jim Pitman on pedal steel. The "Rangers" will be playing at the Hardwick Legion Hall this Saturday night, Feb 24 from 7:30 - 10:30 for your listening and dancing pleasure. Their repertoire consists of vintage classic country, western swing, rockabilly and some bluegrass material. Admission is $10 per person at the door. There is a full stocked inexpensively priced bar and great dance floor. Come join 'em!
