Free Lecture on Old Growth Forests & Lake Champlain

Calling all lake, forest, and ecology lovers! The Patrick Leahy Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP) is hosting their Winter Love the Lake speaker series--4 FREE public presentations on Lake Champlain's cultural and natural resources.

Daniel Spada, a botanist from Tupper Lake, NY, will give the second lecture of the series on the important role old growth forests play in watershed and lake health. This program begins at 6:30 p.m. in the LCBP Office, located just north of the Grand Isle ferry entrance. Join us in person to enjoy homemade desserts while you learn about our lake (or join online; pre-register at the Zoom link below).
