Living with Bears - Wednesday, March 13 th
6:30pm at the Huntington Library.

We will be welcoming Jaclyn Comeau, VT Fish and Wildlife's bear biologist, to give her presentation "Living With Bears".

There are three parts to her presentation:
- who bears are, what they like and don't like and all their bear habits
- bear - human conflict situations - what are the typical causes and how best to handle them
- a Q&A session

While you're waiting for the program you might want to read about bears. These two adult books are available at the Huntington Public Library: "In Company of Bears - What Black Bears Have Taught Me About Intelligence and Intuition" by Benjamin Kilman and "Beyond the Bear and Living with Bears Handbook" by Linda Masterson. There are also several children's non-fiction books about bears.

This is a Nature Literacy Program co-sponsored by the Huntington Conservation Commission and the Huntington Public Library.
