We welcome you to attend the first offering of SoulSpace, a creative fusion of yoga and SoulCollage®, co-facilitated by Carolyn Tatlock, SoulCollage® Facilitator, and Jenni Bynum, RYT 200. This 3-hour workshop will seamlessly blend gentle yoga, the art of SoulCollage® and meditation to guide participants on a journey to their unique powers of creativity.

SoulCollage® is part creative exploration and part self-discovery. It's fun and can be delightfully surprising! Participants will explore the process of collage-making using magazine images on 5"x 8" cards. SoulCollage® allows everyone to be an artist, even if you don't believe you have a creative bone in your body because you are working with found images. In this Introductory class, you will also learn to listen to the wisdom of the chosen images in a simple, intuitive exercise. You'll then learn how to "read" your card as it shares its deeper meaning, offering insights and guidance.

All materials are included in the registration fee. This workshop is perfect for first-timers and experienced card-makers who want dedicated time and space for cardmaking and witnessing.

All levels are welcome, but no experience is necessary! Extra mats and yoga props are available for use at Vergennes Movement.

Carolyn is a SoulCollage® Facilitator and a retired School Counselor who lives in North Ferrisburgh, VT. A lifetime soul-seeker and self-care advocate, Carolyn believes in healing through creativity and doing things that fill the soul.

Jenni Bynum is a former emergency preparedness planner who discovered yoga as a way to calm the seemingly never-ending chatter in her mind.

Before finding yoga, Jenni worked for an emergency management consulting firm, often traveling across the country and putting in long hours. She credits her yoga practice with helping her relieve her anxiety and restoring balance and boundaries in her life. In 2021, after practicing for over a decade, she embarked on a 9-month certification program through Laughing River Yoga, and soon discovered that she was also pregnant with her first child!

Instead of postponing, she completed the program, growing both her yoga knowledge and her belly! In May 2022, she completed her 200-hour certification program with Laughing River Yoga, 38 weeks pregnant! She is also a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200) through Yoga Alliance.

Completing yoga teacher training while pregnant gave her a newfound appreciation and amazement for the human body and its ability to change, grow, and adapt. When she's not teaching or practicing asana, you can find her training for her next half marathon, or hitting the trails of the Green Mountains. She loves walks with her husband and baby daughter.

She looks forward to meeting you soon in class or a workshop to share the transformative and healing power of yoga.
