On March 5th, enjoy dinner down at The Forge in Randolph and support the Randolph-Shizukuishi student exchange program!
10% of your total bill will be donated to the fundraising efforts to support our local students traveling to Shizukuishi this June.
Reservations are encouraged and please remind the hostess when your party is seated your participating in the fundraiser.
In June 2024, Randolph Union Middle School students will participate in the annual cultural exchange with the Shizukuishi Junior High School in Japan for the first time since the pandemic. For nearly thirty years, students in the Randolph Union community have had the opportunity to travel to Japan, stay with host families, and engage in cultural exchange, learning more about the world around them and becoming a global citizen.
One highlight of the program is that unlike other experiences, candidates are chosen first and foremost as students who have not previously engaged in international travel, and who may not have this opportunity in the future. Further, our partners in Shizukuishi Junior High School visit Randolph each year, staying with members of the community and attending Randolph Union.
In order to make this experience happen, we turn to our supportive community. As students, the cost to travel can be prohibitive, and the support of the community allows for us to engage in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
We sincerely appreciate your support in making this cultural exchange possible.
Respectfully,
The RU Middle School Traveling Students
