Dear Neighbors, I was devastated a few weeks ago when I saw the news of the Jeffersonville Farmer's & Artisan Market closing down - as I know so were many of you! I was also surprised and truly inspired by the outreach of support from the community members in attempts to save the event. I know it was with a very heavy heart that the decision was made to end it.
As a summertime outdoor enthusiast, supporter of local farmers & artisans, and a music lover, I can't stand to let this tradition of community and enjoyment end... So it is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I am announcing: THE SHOW WILL GO ON!!!!
But I need your help...
I have met with the Village Trustees, filed with the state, and am now ready to discuss with the community! Please join me Thursday, 2/29 at 6 PM to begin the conversation and save this tradition! Location TBD. I will be seeking volunteers for positions on the board, as well as volunteers for general planning and support! Email: slangdell@kw.com with any questions.
