Eclipse Program: Sunday, March 10, 2024, 2PM DST at Richford Town Hall

With the April 8 Eclipse coming soon, let's discuss what the fuss is all about!

What is a solar eclipse? Why does it happen? What do we look and listen for? How are we able to predict them?

FREE SOLAR VIEWING GLASSES AVAILABLE!

Weather permitting, safe viewing of the sun though a hydrogen alpha solar telescope will be available across the street at the Missisquoi Lookout after the program.

Presenter: Dan Seeley, local astronomer, selected and supported by the Astronomical Society of the Pacific as an Eclipse Star.

This program is sponsored by the Arvin A. Brown Public Library and the Richford, Montgomery, and Enosburgh Conservation Commissions
