Using Airtable in Your Genealogy Research

Airtable is a free online program that uses a familiar spreadsheet format to organize information. It is much more powerful than Excel or Google Sheets - especially in helping you find relationships within your data. Among its many benefits are the ability to handle different data types (text, numbers, PDFs, images, videos, URLs, etc.) and much simplified data entry (only enter names, addresses, traits in one place). From recipes and book collections to massive historical files, Airtable can help you build, organize, and relate important information.

In this talk, we'll use a small library catalog and several genealogical projects to demonstrate its workings and value. This class will be held online via Zoom from 10:30 to noon. Cost is $10.00. Please visit our website, https://www.vtgenlib.org/upcoming-class-list/ for additional details and registration.
