The first public meeting for the Shelburne St/Home Ave Scoping Study will be held on Thursday, February 22 at 5:30 pm, in person at the DPW Front Conference Room (645 Pine St.) or online via Zoom. This is a joint project with S. Burlington and includes the Farrell St. side of the intersection as well. The purpose of the study is "To develop and evaluate alternatives to improve all modes of transportation and enhance the intersection to better serve as a gateway into Burlington, and select and recommend a preferred alternative to the City Council."

I am the representative of the Burlington Walk-Bike Council on the Advisory Committee. Please let me know if you have any comments or suggestions on the intersection from a walking or biking perspective.
