The Middlebury College Sunday Night Environmental Group (SNEG) is presenting a speaker series "Forests for Climate, Forests for Life". This is a three part series exploring the critical role of forests in supporting the climate, biodiversity, and human health.
The first presentation - "Future Wild: New England's Public Forests In A Global Context" - is on Feb 20, from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. The speakers are:
Dr. Jamison Ervin, Manager, UNDP Global Nature for Development Program, and Zack Porter, Executive Director, Standing Trees
The location is the Franklin Environmental Center at Middlebury College, 531 College St., Middlebury. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided. No registration is required.
