The clock is ticking to pass the pro-union legislation supported by the Vermont State Labor Council, S.102 (or the Vermont PRO Act). Liz Medina, director of the Vermont State Labor Council, will talk about the bill, what it would do, and how unions help all workers, whether they're union members or not.

There were a series of community conversations last year about how to think long-term about Montpelier's future, after the July flood dramatically illustrated the river city's vulnerability to extreme weather—once again. Thursday night, The Montpelier Commission for Recovery & Resilience will hold a forum from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Montpelier High School, which is a chance to hear what the Commission has been working on since it was established and to weigh in on the Commission's priorities and future activities. We'll get insights into their work thus far from a recent episode of Vic Guadagno's Bordertown podcast, featuring Ben Doyle and Aly Richards.
