We plan to walk about 2 miles out and back from the Causeway Park Parking Lot (https://maps.app.goo.gl/7uSrU4CB35VWsfnLA) to the bridge where ducks tend to congregate (of course we will also be birding along the way). When we scouted the trail at the end of February, the terrain was relatively icy at the start, so we recommend wearing winter boots with crampons. There is one short incline at the start, followed by flat trail. There are NO all gender and wheelchair accessible restrooms or water available at this location. The nearest bathroom is 1.25 miles away at Airport Park. In light of increasing COVID-19 numbers in Chittenden county, masks are recommended and social distancing is encouraged.

Feel free to bring your binoculars, and we will have binoculars to loan out if needed.
