Prerequisite:

You should first be comfortable with creating vector drawings (in software such as Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, or others) and have a basic understanding of what a CNC is and what it is capable of.

Learn:

You will learn how to import artwork and create toolpaths with VCarve, and learn how to set up and safely operate functions in the ShopBot. The introduction class will be two hours, followed by a one-hour session, where you can either be checked off to use the machine on your own or getting extra help with toolpaths or artwork set-up

*This class acts as a tool test to use the CNC machine at Hatchspace.
