An invitation from Charlotte Congregational Church, an open and affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ to join us for an Ash Wednesday service:
In the Christian tradition, the season of Lent (LENgThening of days) begins on Ash Wednesday and culminates with a celebration of Christ's resurrection at sunrise on Easter Sunday.
Join us this Ash Wednesday, 2/14/24 from 5:30-6:15pm for a contemplative service:
- Through readings, silence, music and ashes we'll begin our Lenten journeys
- Rev. Hadley Bunting will deliver the message
- Our Director of Music, Cameron Brownell (tenor) will provide our music, including a vocal solo
