Falling Through the Night - Burlington Book Launch

Past event
Feb 18, 2024, 4 to 5 PM

Consultant and former Vermont legislator Jason Lorber will be facilitating a special dialog session in celebration of the launch of local author Gail Marlene Schwartz's new novel Falling Through the Night.

Falling Through the Night follows protagonist Audrey Meyerwitz, who is queer, anxious, and adopted. More than anything, Audrey wants a healthy family of her own, something that feels impossible. Through immigration, a twin pregnancy, friendship with the Itchy Mortals, and discovering a secret that changes everything she thought she knew about herself, Audrey learns that healthy love means embracing the messiness that defines human families and doing the personal transformation work that requires facing what scares us the most.

The event will be held at the Fletcher Free Library in Burlington, VT.
