Well, we had another rousing game of BINGO yesterday at the Worcester Town Hall.
Some folks can now be considered "regulars", as they have come twice! One BINGO newbie asked, hopeful, whether we were doing it again---planning to come next time with more than $5 of loose change in his pocket. A new resident announced, with full cheese, that Worcester BINGO has put the FUN in FUNdraising! And one lucky person won THREE games! (Very guiltily, as it was yours truly...)
Fran, BINGO caller extraordinaire, came ready with a line-up of awful jokes and some stretches to ease us through the "stress" and recovery of the special speed round. Janice and granddaughter, Elise, baked and shared some delicious cookies!
Anyway, those are the highlights of the week. I'm pretty sure the "regulars" will be back this Sunday, we will have some more cheesy FUNdraising and our newbie will be ready with his tenner. Maybe this time, I'll remember to put out the placard... The lucky beneficiary will be the WORCESTER LUNCH AND FOOD PANTRY.
Logistics: CASH BINGO! $5 for 3 cards, $10 for 6 cards (both entitle you to a 6 game series) and a few specials that will cost $1 to $2 each to participate. We appreciate $10s, $5s and $1s, as that makes change and dividing winnings a lot easier.
