Join us at the Library for the first program in our new Food Revolution Series on Tuesday, September 3rd at 5:00 PM . Our guest speaker will be Faye Conte from 3SquaresVT, an advocate at Hunger Free Vermont. What is being done for Vermonters living in food insecure households, what you can do to help and how the sustainable food movement can be accessible and inclusive for all Vermonters will be discussed. Enjoy tastings of Vermont cheeses donated by Healthy Living, fresh home baked bread from the Bread and Butter Farm, samplings of spicy and sweet corn soup, summer farro salad and fresh cherry cupcakes. Let's learn together to improve our own diets, our community and the environment through local sustainability systems and awareness.
