The Great Ice! Committee and North Hero Volunteer Fire Department will be dedicating the Cormier Winter Station as the first event of Great Ice! this year.
The station will serve as the permanent home for the Great Ice! Zamboni and house a winter recreation library for anyone to borrow skates and other winter equipment from.
Your support as a community was essential in raising the funds for the station and the decoration of the Zamboni to honor Dwayne's service to the NHVFD and both will be on display.
We invite all to attend the ceremony at 3:30 on Friday, February 16th behind the Lake Champlain Islands Economic Development Corporation at 3501 US Route 2 in North Hero.
