We want to live in a community in which we work together in order to make Roxbury a better place to live. We believe in transparent governance, and recognize that while we don't always agree on issues, we treat each other with respect, helping each other out in times of need. We believe in expanding affordable housing in our town, growing our local economy and increasing fresh food access for families of moderate income. We believe in preserving the independent spirit of our small town, and advocate for Roxbury Village School and for affordable pre-school programs. We support energy independence and efficiency in order to reduce energy costs for our citizens in the face of climate change. We believe in revitalization: growing our local economy while ensuring that our town remains an affordable, safe and friendly place.

If you believe in these values and want to make change in this world, I encourage you to attend the next Roxbury Democratic Party meeting. Guacamole encouraged; beer is not allowed at the library. Great super-bowl warmup!
