Green Mountain Weavers and Spinners Guild Winter Spin-In will co-occur with North Adams' Winterfest on Saturday 2/17, 10a-2p at 59 Summer St. in North Adams. Stop on by!!

We will have scheduled presentations in addition to the chance to try your hand at spinning and watching accomplished spinners do their thing.

Watch for exact times of presentation by Sylvia Graham on Blending by Design, a tool for spinners, knitters, and weavers to fine tune their fiber blends; Dottie Taft will be teaching how to spin flax: Suzanne Franke will demonstrate the Charkha, the loom made famous by Gandhi. Susan will also demonstrate how to triple ply (Navajo plying) from one strand.
