From May 4-May 18, the Essex Community Players will be putting on The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds, a drama by Paul Zindel, which won the Pulitzer Prize in 1971.

We are looking for:
Three teenagers to play Ruth and Tillie, daughters of Beatrice; and Janice Vickery, contestant in a science fair.
One actor, 40-50, to play Beatrice, the mother of Ruth and Tillie
One actor, 65-85, to play Nanny, a very old woman (almost 100 years old) the family is providing hospice care for

Auditions are Tuesday, February 27 (6:00 pm-9:00 pm), Thursday, February 29 (6:00 pm-9:00 pm), and Saturday, March 2 (12:30 pm-3:30 pm) at Memorial Hall in Essex Junction (5 Towers Road, at the corner of Route 15, near the Essex Experience).
