The Halifax Historical Society is sponsoring a fall walk to the Bell Cemetery off Amidon Road on Saturday, Oct. 4. Meet at the town office at 2 p.m. to carpool.

If anyone wants to go directly there, we have permission to park in the driveway of Penfield Chester's house, but the fewer cars, the better. She has asked that we drive slowly and not go over to look at her horses, as they're easily spooked.

This is a fairly short walk, and everyone is invited; you don't have to be a member to join in. We hope the weather will be glorious, but in case of bad weather, phone Gretchen at 368-2352.
