The Lions Charity Race is Saturday September 27th. Net proceeds from the race will be given to area food and fuel assistance programs. Registration begins at 9am at the Vergennes Union Elementary School with a 1 mile race at 10am and a 5K race at 11am. Registration fees are $10 for under age 18 and $20 for age 18 and over with a family limit of $35. Bring a nonperishable food item and receive a raffle ticket. This is a timed race through the city of Vergennes. All kids will receive a ribbon for participating. Hope to see you there!
