Join the Friends of Missisquoi NWR from the comfort of your home on February 22nd at 7:00PM as they continue the exploration of the cultural heritage of the Missisquoi area. In this Zoom presentation Dr. Fred Wiseman will examine the beginnings of social and ecological complexity with the beginning of optimized food collecting and astronomy and stone-structure built environments. He will explain some of the amazingly complex material culture of the era, including stone and ivory, and will discuss the evidence for complex and astronomical ritual and social organization.
