When: Saturday, Feb 10 at 10am
Where: Shaw Outdoor Center- extra parking available at the Green Mountain Clinic
Details: An ~3 mile hike on the Shaw Center and Town Forest trails to the viewpoint at the anchor. Depending on conditions some form of microspikes or yaxtrax may be needed, otherwise regular hiking boots will be adequate. We will post a traction update the day before as well as any changes or cancellations due to weather. Norwich University will also be holding their Winter Carnival and there will be hot cocoa and a bonfire as well as sledding at the Shaw Center starting at noon. Come for just the hike or stay for cocoa and sledding afterwards! Please leave your dogs at home. Sponsored by the VOREC Grant and Town Forest Stewardship Committee
