Hello everyone!

My name is Olivia, and I am a student volunteer with the UVM chapter of Camp Kesem. We are a non-profit that support kids coping with a parent's cancer diagnosis. Our mission is to build hope and confidence in these children to help them navigate the challenges they face, ensuring they are never alone.

Having experienced the loss of a parent to cancer at a young age, I found solace in discovering this community upon coming to UVM. This community of people was something I didn't know I needed in my own healing process, emphasizing beyond our focus on children, everyone involved in the community can feel the magic of Kesem.

We will be hosting our largest annual fundraising gala, Make the Magic, on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Delta Hotels, South Burlington, VT, from 6pm to 9:30pm. The evening will include dinner, a silent auction of goods and services generously donated by the local community, and a night filled with magical Kesem programming where you'll hear the impact Kesem has had on individuals.
