Greetings,
As many people know--and despite our best efforts--roads can contribute sediment and nutrients like phosphorus to our streams, rivers, and lakes.
The Northwest Regional Planning Commission is part of diligent efforts to reduce road- related pollution.
And, on February 15, we are co-sponsoring a meeting to learn from community members how existing public and private resources might better support 'water friendly' road management.
Everyone is invited to participate. But we especially want to hear from two groups, public road officials and those associated with Homeowners Associations (HOAs), which are often responsible for managing private roads.
Please consider attending at least part of the session, which will be held using the Zoom platform.
