As many know, roads can contribute sediment and nutrients (like phosphorus) to local waters.
Northwest Regional Planning is part of efforts to reduce road- related pollution. And, on February 15, we are co-sponsoring a meeting to learn from community members how existing public and private resources might better support 'water friendly' road management.
We especially want to hear from two groups. One is local road officials. The other is people associated with Homeowners Associations (HOAs).
