The Floating Bridge Food and Farms Cooperative is offering another Slice of Life workshop! Visit Liberty Orchard, a family-owned and operated apple orchard in Brookfield, and learn about the science that goes into managing it from soil and leaf tests and insect monitoring to nutrient management and apple-related research. The class is designed as an exploration for homeschoolers, combining food and science in a fun and practical setting, but any Middle and High school aged learners, homeschooled or otherwise, are welcome and encouraged to attend!
