Join virtuosic chamber ensemble Ampersand in celebrating the stark beauty of midwinter with music & poetry. Ampersand's ensemble is made up of six world-class vocalists, including members of the Grammy-nominated choir of Trinity Wall Street (one of whom, Timothy Parsons, lives right here in Richmond).

Selections will include Renaissance polyphony by Tallis, Byrd, Lassus, & Manchicourt, music from the first half of the 20th century by Parry & Poulenc, & contemporary music by Andrew Balfour. 75 mins. Optional donations accepted at the door. All are welcome!
