ACORN's first working bee, as part of our new Farmer Climate Network, will be at Boundbrook Farm in Vergennes! A working bee follows the idea that many hands make light work; a group of folks volunteer time on a large project to help expedite that farm's goals. We'll be building community, resilience, and joy in the middle of winter, while also learning a bit about experimentally growing and processing soybeans in the Champlain Valley. How wonderful if we could have access to locally grown soy?!
Lunch will be provided by Boundbrook thanks to grant funding from the Vermont Council on Rural Development.
There are 9 spots available for this first working bee.
