Hi friends,
Salvation Farms will be processing 100 pounds of locally gleaned acorn squash at the Vermont Food Venture Center on Monday, October 6th starting at 9:00 AM. We are looking for extra hands to help wash, cut, prepare, and bag squash which will then be frozen and later distributed to local food shelves, schools, and meal sites.
The following volunteer time slots are available, we would like to have four volunteers for each time slot.
9:00 - 11:00
11:00 - 1:00
1:00 - 3:00
For food safety purposes, we ask that you come in clean clothing with closed toed shoes.
